PBI Portugal
The base of support for the projects of Peace Brigades International (PBI) are members and supporters organized into more than a dozen country groups around the world. PBI-Portugal is an Associate Group which is likely to be recognized as a full Country Group shortly.
With about 15 members, PBI-Portugal focuses on finding volunteers for the projects, and generally raising awareness of human rights issues.
A newsletter is sent to members, individuals and organizations. Other activities include speaking tours by activists and networking with other NGOs.
