There are many ways you can support PBI. You can become a regular donor or a member, come along to meetings, help set up a regional group in your area, help with fundraising, help organise specific projects like speaking tours or provide support to Australian volunteers who are currently on PBI projects. We are always looking for new people with skills and energy to help.

Make a regular or once-off donation

Help build global peace by making a donation today. Regular donations allow us to plan ahead, secure in the knowledge we can continue to fund our work.

Become a member of PBI

PBI has been working to support human rights and promote non-violence for 25
years. Become a member today and work with us to make an even greater difference.

Become a field volunteer

Teams of volunteers provide moral and physical support to human rights defenders and organisations working for social change and the development of civil society, whose lives and work are threatened by violence.

Volunteer Opportunities in Australia

PBI depends almost entirely on the commitment and good will of its growing team of volunteers. If you have some time to spare and skills to share, there are several opportunities for you to volunteer with PBI Australia.

Testimony
"Working with PBI has been very enriching, very unique, an exceptional experience. It's taught me many things, made me feel many things, at times frustrated, other times fulfilled and I have grown wiser and more knowledgeable as a person. I've been amazed and moved by the passion and motivation of the human rights defenders we accompany."

Taline Haytayan, Colombia volunteer in 2004
