What we doPBI UK, one of 17 PBI country groups, provides crucial support to our field projects in Colombia, Guatemala, Indonesia, Mexico and Nepal. We promote human rights and raise awareness of the issues faced by human rights defenders amongst the public and UK decision makers. We recruit and train volunteers for our field projects, as well as raising funds. We are helping to create a global culture of peace and we show that non-violent approaches to conflict resolution work. |
